Sandpit Church

Welcome to the Church of St Maurice in Lille Posted by Picasa

The north aisle has been filled with a pile of dry sand and dead wood. What better symbol could there be of the spiritual desert that the Church has become.  Posted by Picasa

One of the sources of the problem; a fundraising poster in the Church. "The Church has 100% need of you". This reversal of the truth, gives a Church that is desperate to please, which forgets that it is the Ark of Salvation. The results can be seen in every corner of the Church of St Maurice. Posted by Picasa
