Ex-church has a new mission

'I think it's wonderful....it helps the neighborhood.' Important, yes, but not anything like as important as saving souls and pastoral care.

The Great Catholic Sale began in the late 1960s after the Vatican Council. A photograph taken in an antiques shop at the time. A church in the Netherlands was converted into an antique showroom. The business was so successful that the church is now only used for the valuable statues. Their new display place is room after room of religious objects taken from desecrated and "modernised" churches.

..but even in Mission countries a Church has been converted into a nightclub.

This is a picture of the blasphemously named Sanctuary Club. Please be warned about the offensive nature of the material on their website. There website even proclaims, "Yeah, its a church".

When this sort of desecration occurs, the faithful of the area should get the Diocese to name exactly who authorised this sale and when. Name, shame and send them to the Missions!
