Polish Bishops' Guidelines on the implementation of the Motu Proprio

a souvenir from Germany:

"At the recent meeting of the German bishops, a representative of the Polish episcopacy also participated. Now one knows why from Przemyslaw Bentkowski.
In the meantime it has become clear, Bishop Stanislaw Budzik of Tarnów (55) did at home after his participation in the meeting of the German bishops in Fulda.

This is because on 3 October the Polish bishop conference also published Guideline on the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum

They agree to a large extent with the Guidelines of the German bishops. In certain respects, however they are even sharper in their demands.

Thus the Polish bishops demand, for example, that the Sermon during the old Mass should agree “with the teaching of the Second Vatican Council”

Cardinal Ratzinger
"A bishops' conference as such does not have a mandatum docendi (mandate to teach). This belongs only to the individual bishop or to the college of bishops with the pope."

For those that want a headache, a learned work supporting episcopal conferences.

Collegiality is a weapon with which to beat the Pope, and was even criticised by one of the Orthodox and one of the protestant periti at the Second Vatican Council. It was, in fact, Cardinal Ottaviani who said that the only time the apostles displayed collegiality was when they all ran away.

As the beauty of Our Lady's face can be seen in this icon, so the glory of the Lord should be seen again in the liturgy.
