Brought to you by the once Catholic Kolping Movement. Their youth work is quite active, even impressive but it is all worthless if nourished by the spirituality shown in the Masses here.

Guidelines of the Swiss Bishops on the Motu Proprio

Reactions
from the ever-excellent kreuz.net

“The Guidelines have been almost word for word taken over from those of the German Bishops' Conference. A significant difference is an allegedly necessary "permission by the local bishop". In addition, they seem to concern only German-language parishes.”

Principal consecrator of the future Bishop of Rome

His Diocese hosted the Joint Synod of the German Dioceses from 1971-75, which was meant to implement the Second Vatican Council in Germany.

Bishop Post-Conciliar

For some people, this Synod was the high point of their lives- the future Cardinal Lehmann among them. I have a fat book on what it decided that the Second Council had decided for the religious communities. This is all at several degrees removed from the operation of the Holy Spirit in the one True Fold of the Redeemer.

Seminary mag's 'gay' ads cause stir:

"St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary recently sent out two vocation-recruiting catalogs to prospective seminarians. One version — which contained only articles and no advertisements — targeted straight men. The other version — which did contain advertisements, including the one pictured below, with two bare-chested men standing next to each other in a hot tub — targeted homosexual men."

Later Our Blessed Lady said to her : "Whoever wishes to receive favors from me should make three novenas of the prayers of the Rosary in petition and three novenas in thanksgiving."

The devotion consists of the Rosary of petition said every day for twenty-seven days ; then regardless of whether or not you have received your request immediately begin the Rosary of thanksgiving every dav for twenty-seven days.

'Letter to the German Bishops'

Reactions
from Fr Hubert Jedin in 1968.:

"I am convinced that the true and the good which has emerged from the new awakening of the Church at the Council and through the Council up to today can only be fruitful if it is separated from error. The longer the painful operation is put off, the greater will be the danger that valuable sources of strength are going to be lost because they will be amalgamated with error. Then there will occur among us not only a separation from the Church, but a defection from Christianity itself. The more clearly the bishops speak and the more decisively they act, the greater the chance to maintain the movement of awakening within the Church and thereby to uphold the Church."

video here. The Pope's brother complains in his interview that the tune of a hymn to Mary (Ave Maria by Gounoud) was played on the organ during Communion. The commentator then says that he was, however, very happy with the Mass as a whole. Several more people are then interviewed echoing this view.

See Cathcon pictures and report here of the Mass.
