While I understand the preference for the old grants, they have been revoked. The Raccolta remains a wonderful collection of prayers, but in order to gain indulgences for the dead, the current norms must be followed. The dead would still benefit from the inherent merit of the works contained within the Raccolta, but would not recieve the greater effect of the power of the keys associated with indulgences.

It seems clear, at least to me, that indulgences, like pardons, are absolutely a matter of concession and not of right and thereore no appeal to tradition can be made in this matter as regards the continuence in force of the old grants as we did with the liturgy.
